Hi Alasdair. Good luck with the Greenland Expedition. We met last year at Dunstaffnage…I recall Sumara got the perfect score (10/10) following detailed inspection of varnish and brasswork! I also bumped into Peter on Caber and had a look round her. Did you see the name of her Tender? Highly amusing. Safe voyaging. Rgds Alec

Hi Alec, I’m not sure my brass work would receive 10/10. Polishing is normally the very last job on the list after drawing pictures in my log book!

Hi Alasdair, its normally used as a term of abuse, but in the context of a Caber and its thrower , one of good humour.
