The wind piped up this morning building to a full gale from the east. It was good seamanship for Will to decide to move the boat into the lee of a hill in the bay and to lay out two 35 kg Fisherman’s anchors. We took a transit between two headlands and the ground tackle is holding so far. The wind is in theory due to increase at midnight. We had cheese on toast for lunch on freshly baked bread. As our tasks are gradually completed, we are spending the remaining part of the day reading our books. We could be here a long time!
